Come One - Come All!

Our new organist, Helen Hamel has offered to get our choir off the ground. She
is willing to meet during the week if that is more convenient for any one.
Please come and join. Joyful noise is made by anyone who likes to sing.

Council Meeting-February 2011

1. Rev. Ralph Peterson to officiate at the Feb. 27th service, $100+ $.50 a mile.
2. Cluster Meeting @ St. Lukes on March 1st. that is their dinner night we are
invited and will have meeting after.
3. Deb working with Patti will have to be voted in by council when she is ready.
4. Mac to check re; annual fund raising sign ie; Christ our Emmanuel Lutheran Church
Annual Fund Drive.
5. a. Ask P. Bob to be V.Pres of council.

a. Property- Contracts w/ Suburban Propane canceled, Main-Care new cont. holder.
Pastor cloak cabinet raised.
New Propane gas furnaces installed.
Handle replaced on up-stairs toilet in the apartment.
Hot air trunk line w/ 4 exhausts from lower furnace.
Thanks to Marcia & Bruce, we have new Renters for the office,
Local Lawyer Mark Renfro.
b. Feb. treasury report deposits of $3,551.50, Disbursements $2.703.82. Deposits
does not show the apt. rent of $950 that had not been deposited yet.
c. Worship & Music- New organist working out fine, Helen would like to get our
choir going on a regular basis and is willing to practice during the week if we
like. Richard and children doing a wonderful
job. Richard would like some feed back re; his Sunday service leadership.
7. Directory- Doug advised almost ready, the rough draft is fantastic, church will
pay for them, and we will ask each family to contribute towards the cost of each.
Doug to order 45 copies w/ bill to be submitted to Patti.
8. New Business; Mac to contact all who may be interested in joining the choir, an
announcement will be made on Sun. all are welcome.
9. Ash Wednesday March 9th. we may be asked to hold worship and host here.
10. Council to meet with Pastor Preisinger on March 8th. Pastor review.
